Refund and Cancellation Policy
This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and cancellations for bookings made with MRG World for affordable housing projects under the Haryana Government's Affordable Housing Policy.
1. Booking Amount
The booking amount for any project is as per the guidelines issued by the Haryana Government under the Affordable Housing Policy. The amount is subject to change as per government notifications.
2. Cancellation by Applicant
Before Draw:
- If an applicant wishes to cancel their application before the draw, they may do so by submitting a written request.
- The booking amount will be refunded after deducting applicable administrative charges as per policy.
- Refund will be processed within 90 days of receiving the cancellation request.
After Draw (Successful Applicants):
- If a successful applicant wishes to cancel their allotment, they must submit a written request along with the original allotment letter.
- Deductions will be made as per the Haryana Affordable Housing Policy guidelines.
- The refund amount and timeline will be as per government regulations.
3. Cancellation by Developer
In case the project is cancelled or the applicant's application is rejected due to non-compliance with eligibility criteria:
- Full booking amount will be refunded without any deductions.
- Refund will be processed within 90 days of such cancellation.
- No interest will be payable on the refund amount unless specified by government guidelines.
4. Unsuccessful Applicants in Draw
For applicants who are not selected in the draw:
- The entire booking amount will be refunded without any deductions.
- Refund will be processed within 90 days of the draw date.
- The refund will be made through the same mode of payment used during application.
5. Waiting List Applicants
Applicants on the waiting list:
- May request cancellation and refund at any time before allotment.
- If they do not get allotment within the specified timeline, they are entitled to a full refund.
6. Refund Process
To initiate a refund, applicants must:
- Submit a written application for cancellation/refund.
- Provide original acknowledgement receipt.
- Submit bank account details (same as used during application).
- Provide any other documents as requested.
7. Mode of Refund
Refunds will be processed through:
- RTGS/NEFT to the bank account provided during application.
- In case of payment by cheque, refund will be through account payee cheque.
8. Deductions (Where Applicable)
As per government guidelines, the following deductions may apply:
- Administrative charges
- Processing fees
- Any other charges as per Haryana Affordable Housing Policy
9. Non-Refundable Components
The following are generally non-refundable:
- Application processing fee
- Any charges paid to third parties (bank charges, etc.)
